  4. Do I own the font if I buy it?

When you purchase a font from Typical Type Design, you are actually purchasing a license to use the font, not the font itself. The font remains the property of Typical Type Design. You may not resell the font or relicense it to a third party. Therefore, you do not own the font, but rather are licensed to install and use it on a single personal system, i.e one computer. Read the license agreement for further limitations in use.

  5. What formats are the fonts available in?

True Type (works on both PC and Mac).

CUSTOMER SERVICE

  • How are the fonts and/or brush sets delivered?

Electronic delivery by a download link (on some occasions, by email attachment). Note that there is no automatic download. When you order a font or a brush set, we receive a notification of your payment from Paypal. Your order is placed in the delivery queue and will be processed as soon as possible. We will then create and provide you with a password protected web page for you to download from. Delivery time depends on what time of day you make your purchase and the number of orders in the delivery queue. We also deliver on weekends and holidays (note that we're on Central European Time).

  • Confirmation email

You will NOT receive a confirmation email of your order — your receipt from PayPal is the confirmation.

  • Valid email

Make sure you provide us with a valid, working email address. If you haven't received the download link, or any other email you might be expecting from us, within a reasonable amount of time, it is most likely due to an email problem at your end. Check your spam/junk mail folder – if you're using email forwarding, check the original address.

*** A number of email providers have installed automated spam blocking systems that also haphazardly block emails from legitimate sources, such as ours. They won't tell you if they have blocked an email, and they won't tell the one who sent it.

So if you are expecting an email from TTD, and think you should have received it, please contact us again, but this time use a different email address, i.e. a different email provider. If you don't have one, there are many free email providers available: Gmail (Google Mail) is perfect.

We have had problems with the following email providers:

    • comcast
    • cox
    • juno
    • .edu (some but not all)
    • telusplanet (on one occasion)

*** Personal messages:
